Bolstered and Elasticized Daybed Mattress Covers

June 6th, 2008 · No Comments

Our daybeds don’t have to be drab-looking and monotonous each day and week. We can apply enhancement effects on our daybeds and give them new looks now and then through fascinating daybed mattress covers.

Bolstered daybed mattress covers are sized in such a way to give enough allowance for side and back tucking. As we all know, neatly tucked mattress covers depend on the available allowance on the cover size designed for the purpose. These bolstered or boosted mattress covers are richly textured and further augmented imported microfiber fabric. Variations are flax linen or cotton materials. Some are of soft chocolate poly velvet fabrics that can be machine washed.

These daybed mattress covers are often sized to ably cover twin-mattresses of about 36.1 by 16.5 by 8.5 inches in area. They have elasticized corner features for an added graceful look and fit on the mattress edges. A very elegant design is the euro-top plush mattress with tough density cushioning design and an interior spring support that follows the mattress contour for extra support. This mattress has a soft-pad cushion top layer. There are various sizes available for different daybed dimensions.

There are daybed mattress covers strictly for dry-cleaning. Fabrics available for this mattress are varied as per recommendation by the manufacturer or as per our recommendations. There are also twin-mattresses for over-lapping squares daybed models. But the best, according to many mattress sellers, are custom-made mattress covers for daybeds that are well built according to our specifications and material choice. A lot of them are hand-finished to the last detail.

Daybed mattress covers are good alternatives to beddings. Beddings are specifically responsible for giving the daybed the look of an actual bed, while daybed mattress covers fit the seats in a sleek manner and give the daybed a look of an actual sofa-bed. Hence, mattress covers are good for both living and bedroom applications. We may even choose to have a bedding on top of a mattress cover for dual functions.

Daybed mattress covers can easily adapt to the different types of mattresses. Mattress covers can fit and hold on to soft, medium, or firm mattresses while beddings easily get distorted when pressure is applied on the mattress.

Elasticized mattress covers do not need much fixing from time to time due to their elastic fitting feature, which beddings often lack. Thus, in many ways, daybed mattress covers are a more practical choice in topping a mattress and giving our daybeds new looks periodically.
